Laparoscopic Colectomy
Although laparoscopic surgery has benefits and specific indications, it cannot always replace classical surgery. Classical surgery is the gold standard in the treatment of bowel cancer in difficult and advanced cases that cannot be treated laparoscopically.
Laparoscopic surgery is preferred in benign conditions and selected tumors that do not pose a risk of metastasis.
