The Bowel and Anal Clinic was created to offer the most modern in the treatment of bowel and anal diseases. The tip of the spear is the rectal cancer located near the sphincter where we apply the method of transsphincteric resection.
This technique succeeds in saving the sphincter without affecting the oncological outcome, while preserving the patients' quality of life. In recent years we have improved the method even more by avoiding the temporary ileostomy (regardless of the nature of the seat) which is usually done for 1-2 months in rectal operations. Her this new method which we now apply to the majority of our patients, we are one of the first centers internationally to present and publish it.
