The newest trend today in its treatment coccygeal cyst are the flexible lasers where they easily enter the cyst cavity and fistulas without the need for large incisions. Thus, after the operation, there is no need for painful daily changes as there is no cavity or trauma as with classic operations.
The method FiLaC as it is called internationally, it is done using the latest generation laser probe. Using the very thin and flexible laser probe, we cauterize the cyst cavity and the fistulas. The method is similar to that used in cervical fistulas.
